The Importance of Digitalization in Romania

Digital technologies should make the court system more efficient, more transparent, increase access to justice, improve access to information, raise citizens’ awareness of their rights, and all this led to a higher level of trust in the justice system. However, the integration of digitalization into legal area brings significant challenges in many aspects, such as establishing boundaries between the right to information and the right to personal data protection, and ensuring the security and confidentiality of information.
