Romania's road to joining the European Union was strewn with challenges that the entire Romanian society accepted in their true dimension, so that starting from 2002 and until 2007 all institutional efforts had the common goal of integration into European structures.
In what follows, we try to present aspects that, in our opinion, represent, as we have shown in the title above, the consequences generated by Romania's accession to the European Union, as regards some institutions of substantive criminal law and of criminal procedural law.
