Abstract

The prevention and combating of any form of psychological violence in educational establishments is carried out, according to Law no. 191/2022, with respect for the principle of non-punitive measures based on mediation and dialogue and the participation of children and parents in actions and campaigns carried out in this regard. Aggressive, exclusionary, mocking, humiliating behaviour and any other forms of physical or psychological violence have been defined and regulated by Law No 191/2022 amending and supplementing Law No 272/2004 on the protection and promotion of the rights of the child.
In this regard, we wanted to highlight some aspects and shortcomings underlying the protection of children from humiliating, defamatory actions of other children (their peers), as well as some ideas on preventing and combating bullying in schools.
