The institution of prescription of criminal liability is a subject of utmost interest at this legislative moment both as a result of Decisions no. 297/26.04.2018 and 358/26.05.2022 delivered by the CCR, Emergency Ordinance no. 71/30.05.2022 issued by the Romanian Government and Decision no. 67/2022 of the Î.C.C.J. and as a result of Decision C-107/23 of 24 July 2023 of the Court of Justice of the European Union - Grand Chamber.
