Considerations On The Use Of AI In The Court System

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss some aspects regarding the use of an A.I. system in the judicial system. Artificial Intelligence systems are becoming more and more sophisticated, developing the ability to solve tasks with a high degree of complexity, making it possible to use them in a wider spectrum of fields, including the legal system. Under these conditions, a debate is necessary, in this phase preceding the implementation of an emerging technology, regarding the ways in which these systems can be used, with the aim of identifying certain potentially problematic aspects.
