Psychohistorical Files. Reflections Of Peter- I Geopolitics In Contemporary Russia And Current Russian Telocratic Imperialism
Keywords:
Peter- I; Russia; psychohistory; war; doctrine; strategy; conflictAbstract
The geopolitics and reforms of Peter I are the result of the trends that manifested themselves during the Schism after Boris Godunov, the reign of Alexei Mihailovichi Romanov and Tsarina Sofia when, after the Great Moscow Council of 1666-1667, the tendency to move away from the Byzantine sacral mission is attested of Russia, Turanism and the "symphony of powers", as the essence of the Muscovite period, towards absolutism and westernization during the time of Peter I with new political and geopolitical content. The peak of these reforms is the reign of Peter I, which ends the dominance of the Muscovite doctrine of government and the transition to the Baltic doctrine with the new capital in St. Petersburg.
Since it is the same country, the same people, the same geographical space, many psycho-historical aspects are consecutively drawn from the preceding dynamics and dialectics. The dualism of the era of Peter I (1682-1917) in addition to the revolutionary reforms in certain aspects represents a continuity of the Muscovite era. It is this existential dualism of the Russian mentality that will bring Russia to the Revolution of October 1917, the struggle between the Russian Westernists and the Russian Eurasians will create a dramatic situation in Russian psychohistory during the period 1917-2022 peak which manifested itself on February 24, 2022.
